NPPC Case No. 07-16, Case No. 07043, Cortney White:
Respondent participated in obtaining alcohol for two students for which she was found guilty by the Box Butte County Court of the charge of Procure/Sell alcohol to Minor, a Class I Misdemeanor.
NPPC recommendation – five-year revocation. State Board decision – concurred.
NPPC Case No. 08-02, Case No. 07038, Krista Crosby:
Respondent admitted to being in possession of a controlled substance, heroin, and to possessing drug paraphernalia, and also to having used heroin during the morning of August 30, 2007, after school personnel found a spoon that contained residue, a cut straw with residue, and a green bag of small black rocks that appeared to be “crack” cocaine. Respondent pled guilty to the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance, to wit: Heroin, a felony, and was admitted to the Douglas County Drug Court.
NPPC recommendation – seven-year revocation and Respondent is to comply with all terms and conditions imposed by the Douglas County Drug Court. State Board decision-State Board voted to permanently revoke Krista Crosby’s certificate.
